Description
Clip it! and CloseClip it close has been developed for the new sockets by BJB Fassungen for clicking the lamps into them. They are supposed to replace the screw holders and the old fashioned incandescent lamps.
This special characteristic of the socket is the major theme of the draft. Ther was developed a system making it possible to integrate the luminaire into different lamp shades. A small anticonducting coated part of spring steel is adjusted between the socket and the protection. This spring steel later fixes the luminaire by clicking it into the shade.
So as to use the speciel qualities of the luminaire, as well, the lamp shade family Close was designed. The shape descends from basic geometrical forms tearing the centres of their sides into the centrum. The material gets thus very close to the luminaire ( therefor the name ).
Its material is translucent, synthetic material. The single parts are being pierced and then sewed together. The shape results from the tension.
